Sushi quality was just Ok. You do get a lot of food for the amount which was good but I wouldn’t go raving about the fish.

I especially like how the servers give you a description of your dish every time they bring out a portion, I like how I know exactly what I am eating when it arrives to the table. Ask for the table in the corner in front of the bar .

It's a rare occurrence to stumble upon a traditional Japanese cuisine experience such as the one OMAKAI offers, especially for such stupendous price points. Finally, Miami (as opposed to Miami Beach) has an AMAZING old school Japanese restaurant specializing in the freshest & highest quality fish.

Well first of all, although we made reservations on open table, when we got to the restaurant we had to wait over 30 mins.

Their sake and wine list were very complete so we couldn’t resist and ended up getting some nice daiginjo sake for the start of our meal and milder flavors and then a very nice Gruner Veltliner wine for the rest of the courses. !We will be back for sure!
