I’m surprised none of my mutuals on Letterboxd have seen this, but it’s insightful in giving us a different perspective on Italy’s reign during the second world war, and to the barbaric brutality and the inhumanely mindless and idiotic acts carried out by the cruel Axis powers of the war. The music is an epic, orchestral score. The action scenes are pulled off with considerable élan. I caught it on a matinée and was captivated throughout the whole movie.
